PLAYWRIGHT  -  PRODUCER  -  DIRECTOR

Emmbre Perry

WHO I AM

Emmbre Perry was born (August 18, 1979) and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. Before moving to Atlanta , Georgia, he spent the majority of his teenage years working close with his father, who was a contractor. In the late 90’s, with youthful energy, and eagerness to learn more about the entertainment industry, he relocated to the hillsides of Georgia, and was invited to work closely with his older brother, Tyler Perry; an invitation he readily accepted. As the older brother toured the nation, carving out what would prove to be an immovable vast place in the industry for himself, young Emmbre watched the trailblazer closely. He learned all there was to learn about theater and film and began his own creations of himself.

Now ready to take the world by a quiet storm, Emmbre Perry is an exciting, up and coming independent filmmaker, screenwriter, actor, and playwright to watch. He made his producer’s debut in 2006 with the live inspirational stage play production ‘There’s One in Every Family, starring Clifton Powell and Shirley Murdock. The play proved to be a success in theaters from Baltimore to Baton Rouge. Perry went on to continue his career and make his directorial debut with the DVD release (phase 4 films) two feature length plays entitled of God Send Me a Man( Robin Givens, Clifton Powell, Nicci Gilbert, Ash Davito, Curtis Von, Evangeline Gabriel-Young) and Let God Be the Judge (Ann Nesby, Clifton Powell, Curtis Von, ) in 2009. God Send Me a Man went on to debut on BET network in 2011.
